Minimalism employs visually appealing colors, simple shapes and textures.This usually results in a fresh, clean and attractive work of art.

Graphic designer Marko Manev came up with these minimalist posters representing each member of Marvel Comic’s The Avengers. He was able to identify and turn the key visual characteristics of the heroes into basic shapes. Not all of them are instantly recognizable, though; With the ones for Captain America, Thor and Ironman being the most obvious ones. It is a great concept nevertheless.
