There are many ways to make your band well known, and the best part is that many of the ways cost very little. The basic idea is to create a promotional package and get yourself out there. Your package should include your logo, a large full color photo of the whole band, a demo, a mission statement, business cards, and posters. Here are some more ideas for promoting your band as well as ways to use the items in your package. 
 
Poster printing is a great way to get people to notice your band.
Put out enough posters that people notice. That means hanging posters on bulletin boards, walls, glass fronts, and telephone poles. With poster printing, the more you hang, the more your band will be seen. 
 
Create a band website and direct traffic there.
